Car Audio Trade Deliveries

We carry huge stocks of virtually all the products shown on-line and aim to deliver orders typically within 2-3 working days (UK mainland). We can also deliver to most parts of Europe and N. America - please email for a quote.

Types of delivery and the dispatch times

  • Normal delivery for smaller items is sent via Royal Mail First Class and will arrive within 2 – 3 working days
  • Delivery of stereos, speakers (larger items) is by DPD courier and will typically arrive within 2 working days.
  • Special delivery services - next day delivery and Weekend delivery can be shipped via DPD Couriers (subject to availability of products) - please email for a quote.

What happens if there is no-one at home upon delivery?

Our delivery service requires you to be at home or make arrangements to receive delivery. If you are not at home, the courier will leave a card stating when they called and who you need to contact to arrange another delivery - Please contact the number on the card to arrange a second delivery.

Where is my order?

Most of our products are dispatched on the day of the order from our own warehouse. A tracking number can be provided so you can trace the progress of your order.

Depending on the weight and value of your order, we will offer you Postal or Courier Delivery options for the most suitable delivery method.

Warranty & Returns

The Company do not supply goods on a sale or return basis so returns will only be accepted in respect of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied items. Faulty goods returned within 1 month of purchase will be replaced or repaired subject to the manufacturer warranty procedures Goods returned as faulty but found to be working properly will be repackaged and returned to the customer, all packaging and shipping costs incurred will be charged to the Customer. Damaged goods will be replaced on identification of being damaged in transit and notified within 48 hours of receipt of goods. In cases where the goods supplied are different to those ordered the normal Returns process should still be followed. All returns must be pre-notified prior to returning back. Any customer who agrees to refund or replace an item without it first being examined by the Company does so at their own risk.

Unless otherwise stated, goods shall be covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty terms and provisions. This warranty will be for no less than 12 months from delivery. Should products become defective within 1 month of purchase the company will replace them via the goods return note process. Defective items identified after 1 month from purchase will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty claim process and goods should not be returned to Car Audio & Security Ltd unless specifically requested. All warranties will be invalidated if the item is adjusted or modified and/ or if damaged is caused by incorrect installation, use of excessive force or general wear and tear.

Faulty Goods

Any items returned faulty (which have been purchased and returned within 14 days) will be replaced and sent back to the customer carriage free.

Any items which develop a fault after 14 days of purchase will be serviced by our acting authorised service centre. Booking the faulty item is a simple procedure which can be done on-line. A returns authorisation number (R/A) will be issued once all the details have been submitted. The item will be collected from an address you provide and returned back to you once serviced. There are no charges for this service. Please allow 14 - 30 days for warranty work to be carried out.

Any products which cannot be repaired by our service centre will have to be returned by the customer, to our store. This will be the case on any products manufactured by Kicker, Veba, Autoleads, Beat, Alpine, Hertz, Rainbow, Massive, Audison, Connects 2, Boss Audio, Mutant, Diamond & Orion.

Any items rejected by the on-line system will also have to be returned back to Car Audio & Security Ltd.

We recommend that you return items by Royal Mail registered post for safe delivery.

aulty goods returned which have been inspected by our engineers and found not to be faulty will be returned to the customer and will incur an appropriate carriage charge (£10 maximum for UK mainland). It is therefore very important that all items are checked for a legitimate fault, by the customer, before booking them in or returning them back to us.

Most items carry 12 months' warranty. Exclusions include: subwoofer boxes, looms, wiring kits, remote controls, batteries, software discs, brackets, facia trims, cases, aerials, and speaker plates. Most ex-demo units carry 12 months warranty unless otherwise stated. Subwoofers are not covered for voice-coil damage due to abuse, overheating, or distortion. Speaker tinsel leads are not covered due to abuse. Damage caused to facia panels by misuse (ie. dropping) is not covered. We do not cover theft of facia panels, main units or any other item.

Faulty items can only be collected from UK mainland and N. Ireland addresses. The return carriage charges quoted are for UK mainland only - other areas will incur additional charges.

Airlift Warranty Policy - Effective from 03/09/21

Airlift Warranty - Control Systems:

2-Year Limited Warranty on Air Lift Performance 3H, 3P or 3S Air Management/Control systems purchased individually.

4-Year Limited Warranty on Air Lift Performance 3H, 3P or 3S Air Management/Control systems when purchased with an Air Lift Performance front and rear suspension kit or four (4) Air Lift Performance Dominator Air Springs (purchased within 45 days of each other).

1-Year limited Warranty for 27666 - Manual Air Management control system.

Airlift Warranty - Bolt-on Front and Rear Suspension:

1-Year Limited Warranty on Air Lift Performance bolt-on Performance Series and Slam Series suspension kits purchased individually.

2-Year Limited Warranty on Air Lift Performance bolt-on Performance Series and Slam Series suspension kits when purchased with a 3H, 3P or 3S Air Management Control System.

Airlift Warranty - Builder Series Shocks:

1-Year Limited Warranty

Airlift Warranty - Universal Air Springs (D2500 & D2600):

1-Year Limited Warranty when purchased on there own.

2-Year Limited Warranty when purchased with a 3H, 3P or 3S Air Management Control System.

Airlift Warranty - Compressors:

90-Day Limited Warranty for Air Lift Performance compressors.

Orders

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your credit or debit card information (Confidential Information) is kept secure. However unless we have been negligent, we are not liable for any losses arising from unauthorised access by a third party to your Confidential Information.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the Products selected including VAT and delivery charges. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellations will be made to the same card. Where payment has not been made in full, we may cancel your order and/or suspend any further deliveries to you.

All prices stated on the website are exclusive of VAT, unless we tell you otherwise. Prices and availability of Products may be changed at any time without notice. The price at which you agree to purchase the Products is the price stated on this website at the time you place your order.
